Put simply: cakes take a lot of time and labour!
Most cakes will take 2-3 days and some ingredients will cost much more than other ingredients, so the pricing will reflect this.
Pricing will depend on the complexity of the design, the cost of ingredients and the time taken to complete the cake. I do everything from the grocery shopping to the dishes; and this takes a lot of time!
The pricing breakdown looks like this:
Ingredients + Equipment + Time + Complexity = Your Quote

Your order is confirmed when payment is received. Please pay on time to lock in your date.
I can’t hold dates so if I haven’t heard back from you, you may lose your requested date.
I take full payment via bank transfer 1-2 weeks before cake pickup date.

I’m able to cater to some dietaries but not all. Dietary options are available upon request so please include this info in your enquiry submission and I’ll see what I can do.
Please note that all cakes are made in a kitchen that handles allergens including nuts, eggs, dairy, and gluten.
*Unfortunately, I’m unable to make vegan cakes or dairy free cakes.*

I use the highest quality ingredients and sustainable options where possible. I use seasonal fruits and fresh market-sourced ingredients (I avoid Coles and Woolies like the plague).
I’ve invested a lot of work into developing recipes that are “not too sweet” and pride myself on the balance of flavours in my cakes.

I’m inspired by the natural world, by art, ceramics, colours, and objects; anything can be a cake!
I like making something different every time, I feel this adds to the uniqueness of your cake and also I just find it boring to make the same thing all the time!!! The final cake will be influenced by the prompts you give me.
I am happy to take influence from other cake decorator’s to a degree, but I have my own style and feel it’s important to respect the artistry of other creatives; so I don’t do copies or replicas of other cake decorators work.
Check out my gallery or Instagram to see the kind of work I have done before.

Fresh florals don’t have a long life span out of water. For this reason, they are placed on the cake as close as possible to your serving time, this ensures freshness and vibrancy.
I tend to use non-toxic florals but all florals are washed and wrapped in food safe floral tape to protect the cake, please remove before serving.
Tiered cakes contain cake dowels and cake boards for structural integrity, these will need to be removed when serving.

When transporting your cake, make sure you keep it flat and level at all times. Hold it from the base of the box, making sure not to press the sides of the box.
The footwell or the boot of the car will be the flattest place to store your cake while transporting. Avoid placing it on car seats, as they are slanted.
Your cake will be at fridge temperature when you pick it up but will start to melt pretty quickly in temperatures over 20 degrees. If your journey is more than 30-40 minutes please let me know and I will advise accordingly.

Cakes are all freshly baked and assembled within 2-3 days before pickup.
The cake can be stored in the fridge and brought to room temperature (20 degrees C) 30 mins to an hour before serving for the best texture and flavour.
Cakes can be stored in the fridge up to 5 days, or in the freezer for 2 months in an airtight container.
Keep out of direct sunlight.

Preferably not! If you’ve put in a request, then I have already started planning the cake. If you need to change your order however, please get in contact as soon as possible to discuss.
I need 72 hours notice for all order changes.
If it’s within the 72 hour window, changes may not be able to be accommodated as your order is already being made!
